The Body Doctor wins Queens award for innovation 2016

We are pleased to announce The Body Doctor has been selected by HM The Queen, following a recommendation from the Prime minister, to win a Queens Award for Enterprise in Innovation 2016.

The Queens award is the UK highest accolade for business success.

The Awards are made annually by HM The Queen, and are only given for the highest levels of excellence demonstrated in each category.

As winners of the award, we will be invited to attend a special reception at Buckingham Palace in July (which we are extremely excited about!). We can use The Queens Award emblem in advertising, marketing and on packaging for a period of 5 years as a symbol of our quality and success. A representative of HM The Queen will present the award to us at our premises in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire later in the year.

We feel honoured to receive this internationally recognised award which highlights the dedication and hard work of the entire Body Doctor team. This is great for our local community and we hope job creation will just be a part of the achievement of winning the Queens Award.

We would like to thank the Optical Industry for their warm welcome since we introduced our first product in 2013, along with the whole team at The Body Doctor, past and present, who have all contributed in us winning this prestigious award.
